THE PROJECT

I used this kitchen render to explore how furniture, cabinetry, surface finishes and lighting sit together within one interior. The work is presented as a design visualisation study.

01 / THE PROCESS

An interior organised around the island

A central island anchors the composition, with a pale worktop set against darker cabinetry and flooring. Perimeter units establish the background, while the island brings the working surface and seating into the foreground.

The ribbed pendant lights introduce a more sculptural form above the island. A standing light repeats that form elsewhere in the room, allowing me to explore the relationship between individual product design and the wider interior.

The contrast between the lighter worktop and darker surround gives the island a clear visual emphasis within the room’s restrained palette.

OUTCOME

The work, brought together.

The render brings layout, material appearance and lighting into a single view, making their visual relationships easier to assess together.
